Where to stay
Everyone sees real hotels near their stops. Premium travellers can also ask our adviser which mid-range hotels suit each base, with typical prices and links.
For everyone
Open a trip and tap a stay on the Departures board, or open a day, to reach Where you sleep. For each base the app finds hotels that Apple Maps lists near the stops you'll visit from it, and keeps the five that sit closest on average. They're real places, but the app has no prices, no ratings and no idea whether they have a room. It says so. See Where you sleep.
With the adviser
If you're a premium traveller with AI assistance and Stay advice from Perplexity on, "Where you sleep" offers Ask our adviser where to stay.
- Tap it. You'll see "Asking our adviser…". The adviser searches the web for mid-range hotels for each base of your trip, and for any nearby place that makes a better base for a day trip.
- Read what comes back. Each hotel has a short reason, why it suits this route, and a link to its page. A price appears only if the adviser found one with a source: "About <range> a night · seen on <site> · <date>". Prices are typical rates for a double room found on the web, not a quote for your dates.
- Pick one. Choose this stay for the route marks it as Chosen for this route. Nothing is booked.
- Ask again if you want another look. Ask our adviser again repeats it.
What it won't do
- It doesn't book or hold a room, and it doesn't know availability.
- It shows no star ratings or review counts.
- It never links to Google. Links go to the hotel's or a booking site's own page.
What's sent
The cities, the names and positions of your stops there, and the number of nights go to Perplexity. Your name and email don't. See What the AI sees, and who gets it.
Limits
- You can ask three times a day for each trip. After that: "You have asked three times for this trip today. Ask again tomorrow."
- If the monthly allowance shared by all travellers is used up: "Our adviser has reached this month's limit. It is back next month."
- If it couldn't search or be reached, it says so, and you can ask again.

Prices change and rooms sell out. Confirm the rate and availability with the hotel or the booking site. See How far to trust AI suggestions.
