What the AI sees, and who gets it
Which AI companies receive what, when, and what is never sent. Nothing leaves your phone for an AI until its switch is on. Premium
Your name and your email address. Nothing is sent to Google Gemini or Perplexity until you've switched the matching feature on in Profile.
Who answers what

What you type
The only place you type free text to an AI is the day ideas adviser. It sends what you write, so don't put anything in it you wouldn't want an outside company to read.
What's kept
- On your phone: adviser answers for a trip stay on that trip, on your phone only. They're cleared with the trip, on sign-out and on Start Over on This Device.
- Not shown to trip mates. What an adviser tells you isn't shared with the people on a shared trip.
- On our servers: we keep a count of what each AI step cost, filed under your account, so the platform's spending can be watched. We don't keep the answer text.
Apple Intelligence
Some short trip summaries are written on your phone by Apple Intelligence. That stays on your device.
