Trip mates not working?

The invitation doesn't arrive

• Look in the app, not just for a notification. The invitation waits on the Trips tab's bell, and in a sheet when you open the app. A notification only arrives if notifications are on. See Notifications.
• Check you gave the right code. A mate code works for 24 hours. If it expired, ask for a new one in Profile → Account → Mate code.
• Check you're both signed in with Sign in with Apple.

"Too many tries — wait an hour"

You've entered mate codes too many times in the last hour. Wait, then try again, and check the code with your friend.

The trip is full

A trip holds 8 people, and a pending invitation counts. Cancel one that's waiting, or ask someone to leave. See Trip mate limits.

I can't plan this trip

That's by design: only the organiser plans. You can read everything and add places. See What trip mates can and can't do.

A place I added isn't showing

It lands in the trip's waiting list as "Added by <your name>". The organiser decides what's planned. If it was removed, that's the organiser's choice. If a place doesn't appear at all, check your connection and see Not saved yet — we'll keep trying.

I want out

You can leave a trip you've joined. Places you added stay, with your name on them.
