A place I want isn't in OffYaGo
The catalog is curated, not exhaustive. How to look wider, and what happens to a place you add that we don't have.
OffYaGo's places are written by hand from open sources, so it doesn't cover everywhere or everything. If you can't find a place:
- Try another way in. Search by the city, or by kind of place, rather than the exact name. See Search.
- Clear filters. A combination of filters can hide it. Use Clear filters.
- Use "Find more places". It looks for what's around a locality.
- Add it from the map. A place that exists on Apple Maps but not in our catalog can be put on a trip. It shows an Added by you badge. We only receive the basics from the map, so it has no write-up or photo of ours, and its visit time is a guess.
What happens to a place you add
A place we don't have is recorded as a suggestion, so we can review whether to write it up properly. You aren't promised anything, and there's no status or notification. It stays on your trip regardless.
