Search
Type a word to turn it into a filter, browse by kind of place, and get back to what you looked at recently.
Search is the round button at the right of the tab bar. It opens "Find places for your trip".
Three ways in
- Type. The field says "Tours, places, or categories". A word that names a country, city or kind of place becomes a filter you can remove. Suggestions appear as you type.
- Browse. With nothing typed, tiles let you browse by region, city and Kinds of place, such as temples and shrines. Tiles don't promise results the catalog doesn't have.
- Go back. Recently viewed and recent searches sit under the field. Remove any of them with the small button on its row.
Filters
Filters stack, for example Japan + Temples and shrines. When a combination finds nothing, the screen says "No results in <your filters>" and offers Clear filters. If the catalog is still loading, it says so rather than showing an empty list.
Not finding a place?
OffYaGo's catalog is curated, so it doesn't list every place on earth. Find more places looks for what's around a locality. And if a place you need isn't there, you can suggest it. See A place I want isn't in OffYaGo.
Pre-built tours
Search can also list ready-made tours. Whether it does is a switch in Profile → App → Pre-built tours in Search, and it starts off. See Pre-built tours in Search.
