Not saved yet — we'll keep trying
What the banner at the bottom of the screen means, and what to do if it doesn't go away.
Saved places and trips are kept in your account on our servers, not only on your phone. When a change can't reach the server, the app says so at the bottom of the screen:
Not saved yet — we'll keep trying.
What it means
The change you made, such as saving a place or editing a trip, hasn't been stored yet. The app keeps it and tries again, so you don't need to repeat it. The banner goes away once it's saved.
What to try
- Check your connection. Wi-Fi or mobile data, and airplane mode off.
- Leave the app open for a moment, then look again.
- If you're not signed in (or your sign-in has lapsed), saving can't work. Sign in again. See Signing in and having an account.
- Don't delete the app while it's showing, in case the change hasn't gone through yet.
When planning
If you finish an Auto-plan while offline, the screen says "Couldn't save your plan — Your day-by-day plan is ready, but we couldn't reach the server to save it. Try again once you're back online." The plan is on your phone. Reconnect and try again.
