Accepting an invitation and joining a trip

Where the invitation is

• You may get a notification titled Trip invitation, if you've turned notifications on. See Notifications.
• When you open the app after being invited, a sheet called Trip invitations shows each invitation, once.
• On the Trips tab, a bell near the top lists every pending invitation until you answer. A badge counts them.

Reading one

An invitation says who invited you and the trip's name, length, dates and number of places, and who's going. For example "Alex invited you to Kyoto in autumn · 7 days · 12–18 Nov · 9 places · Alex and Jo are going". Anything you can see of the trip is shared with you, so accept only from people you know.

Answering

• Accept adds the trip to your Trips tab, in a group of trips you've joined. Everyone on the trip can now see you in Who's going.
• Decline removes the invitation. The organiser sees "Declined" and isn't notified by push.

An invitation you ignore expires after 14 days.

On a trip you've joined

You can read the plan, days and schedule and add places, but only the organiser plans. See What trip mates can and can't do.

Leaving

You can leave a trip you've joined at any time. Places you added stay on the trip with your name on them.

You can be on up to 10 joined trips at once. See Trip mate limits.
