How you move
Every journey on the trip in one place, with where each time came from and how to read the flight, rail, road and walking legs. Needs an account
On the trip screen, under the Departures board, the How you move row summarises the trip's journeys: for example "7 legs · at least 42h 26m". Tap it to see them all.
What a leg shows
- How: a flight, a train, a bus or a road transfer, with an icon. Long flights show hours in the air.
- From and to, and about how long it takes.
- Where the time came from: Routed, AI suggested or Estimate. See Travel times between areas.
- The distance between the two ends where it's known.
Short hops on a day
Between two stops on the same day, the day screen draws a small pill with the walking or travel time and distance: "11 min · 0.7 km". See Reading a day.
Rail and metro
Where the catalog knows the lines for a country, a leg can show the real railway as a line on the map. Today that's Japan.
What it doesn't know
- Live delays, fares and seat availability. These times are planning times.
- The last train of the night. For that, premium can check online, and you should always confirm with the operator.
Travel days
A day with a long journey is planned around it. See Travel days and rest days.
